9 Days Morocco desert Tour From Tangier to Marrakech

Our trip will commence with a visit to Chefchaouen on the first day, where we will spend the afternoon exploring the city. Afterwards, we will proceed to Fes.

After breakfast, you’ll meet your guide in the morning to embark on an exciting journey to discover the Moroccan culture. Your guide will take you to visit the old Koranic schools, explore the markets, and stroll through the beautiful squares of this historic imperial Moroccan city. To top it off, you’ll get to enjoy stunning panoramic views of Fes, making for a wonderful day full of unforgettable experiences.

Today’s adventure will take you on a journey through the stunning southern region of Morocco. You’ll set off in the morning to discover the vast desert and its awe-inspiring dunes. Your journey will take you through the majestic mountains and forests of the Middle Atlas, passing by the charming town of Midelt and continuing on through Errachidia and Erfoud before arriving at Merzouga.

In Merzouga, you’ll meet your camel guide and embark on a camel ride to explore the enchanting dunes. Towards the evening, you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset over the majestic sand dunes, followed by an incredible night spent under the starry sky at a Sahara camp. This will be an experience of a lifetime.

Following breakfast, you’ll experience an unforgettable camel transfer to the charming village of Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a journey to explore the mesmerizing dunes and desert landscapes of the region. You’ll have the opportunity to visit nomads living in traditional tents and enjoy a mesmerizing musical show by the Gnawa people. Later, you’ll return to the village for a delectable Berber lunch before continuing your adventure by caravan back to the campsite located in the heart of the dunes. Our journey begins with a departure from the charming village of Merzouga, heading towards Rissani to visit the impressive mausoleum of Moalay Ali Chrif. From there, we’ll continue towards the stunning Todra Gorges, passing by the picturesque oasis of Tafilalt. Along the way, we’ll also make a stop to explore an ancient Jewish village in Tinghir before enjoying a delicious lunch in the gorges.

After lunch, we’ll continue on to Boumalne Dades and visit the Amridel Kasbah en route to Skoura. As we journey towards Ouarzazate, we’ll make a stop to explore the Telouat Kasbah before continuing towards the charming village of Ait ben Haddou, where we’ll spend the night in a beautiful local hotel. After breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided tour of the enchanting Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the fascinating history and cultural significance of this ancient architectural marvel. Following this, you’ll cross the stunning Atlas Mountains on your journey towards Marrakesh, where you’ll also have the opportunity to visit another captivating Kasbah. Once you’ve enjoyed a delicious breakfast, your local guide will lead you on an enthralling tour of the Marrakech medina. You’ll have the opportunity to discover all of the incredible historical monuments, including the majestic palaces, exquisite gardens, and ancient schools.

The tour will conclude with a visit to the main square, where you’ll have the chance to explore the bustling markets and immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture. Following the tour, you’ll return to your cozy riad for an overnight stay.

Following your trip to Casablanca, the capital of Morocco, you’ll have the chance to explore the magnificent Hassan II mosque, distinguished by its exceptional architecture. Following that, we’ll make our way to Rabat, where we’ll spend the night in a lovely hotel.

Following breakfast, we’ll begin our day by visiting the Kasbahs of Chellah and Oudaya, followed by the Hassan Tower. Next, we’ll make our way towards Tangier, with a stop in the charming city of Asilah along the way. Finally, we’ll reach your hotel in Tangier, marking the end of the 9-day Morocco desert tour.
