Itinerary
Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen
Our guide will pick you up from Tangier airport and drive you to Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you’ll get to explore the charming medina of Chefchaouen, wander through its striking blue and white alleyways, soak up the Andalusian Arab culture, and enjoy your time in one of the most beautiful medinas in Northern Morocco. Later in the day, you’ll return to your riad for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Fes
Departing from Chefchaouen, we will journey towards Fes, the oldest city in Morocco and an imperial city. Along the way, we will follow the Rif Mountains until we reach Fes where you will meet your local guide. The guide will take you on a walking tour to explore the city’s historical monuments, including the old Qur’anic schools and markets. You’ll also get to admire the magnificent mosaics and tiled doors. At the end of the day, enjoy a panoramic view of the medina before retiring for the night at a beautiful riad.
Day 4 : Fes – Merzouga
Our adventure begins in the Merzouga desert, where we embark on a thrilling journey and experience the thrill of camel riding and spend a night in a stunning Saharan tented camp.
In the morning, we’ll drive through the scenic mountains and forests of the Middle Atlas, passing through the towns of Midelt and Errachidia before reaching Erfoud towards the afternoon. From there, we’ll venture on to the breathtaking dunes of Merzouga, where your Sahara adventure awaits and enjoy a stunning sunset, a camel ride, dinner, and an overnight stay at the camp.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Fes – Meknes
Having savored the unforgettable moments in the Sahara, we will depart towards the city of Meknes, passing through Rissani and Erfoud before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains on our way to Fes and finally Meknes. Throughout the journey, you’ll be mesmerized by the stunning landscapes of this route.
Day 6 : Meknes – Rabat – Asilah
Our initial destination is the medina of Meknes, where you’ll witness the remarkable architecture and the blue gate. We’ll explore the two Kasbahs of Chellah and Oudaya, and visit the iconic Hassan Tower in Rabat before moving on to Asilah, where we’ll indulge in a delicious dinner and spend the night in a stunning hotel.
Day 7 : Tangier – Tangier port or airport
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided tour of the enchanting city of Asilah, situated in northern Morocco.
After exploring the city’s many wonders, we’ll proceed to Tangier, marking the end of our 7-day desert tour.
