Itinerary
Day 1 : Tangier – Asilah
As you arrive in Tangier, we will be there to welcome you and begin our 15-day tour of Morocco. Our journey will begin by visiting the fascinating Caves of Hercules, where we’ll marvel at the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Afterwards, we’ll continue our adventure with a drive to the charming city of Assilah. Here, we’ll spend the night in a gorgeous hotel, where you can relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Our tour promises to be an unforgettable experience, filled with cultural immersion, scenic beauty, and plenty of adventure.
Day 2 : Asilah – Rabat
Embark on a thrilling adventure as we explore the vibrant city of Rabat. The tour will take us to visit the iconic Hassan Tower, a stunning architectural marvel that dates back to the 12th century. We’ll also explore the historic Kasbahs of Chellah and Oudaya, each with its unique charm and character.
After a day of sightseeing, we’ll rest in a beautiful hotel, where we’ll enjoy the utmost comfort.
Day 3 : Rabat – Casablanca
Following breakfast, we will head towards Casablanca, where we will visit the largest mosque in Africa, the Hassan II Mosque. The tour will then take us to explore the vibrant Bab Marrakech medina and the breathtaking Atlantic coast. As the day comes to a close, we will spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
Day 4 : Casablanca – Essaouira
Our journey will continue as we leave Casablanca and head towards Essaouira, also known as the Portuguese town of Mogador. Along the way, we’ll pass through El Oualidia and the town of Safi. Once we arrive in Essaouira, we’ll explore the vibrant medina with its stunning handicraft shops.
There will also be time for a leisurely stroll on the beach before we check-in to our riad.
Day 5 : Essaouira – Marrakech
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an adventure to explore the Medina of Essaouira. Later, we’ll depart for Marrakech, where we’ll take you to your riad. The remainder of the day will be yours to explore the city at your pace, with endless possibilities for cultural immersion, sightseeing, and adventure.
Day 6 : Marrakech guided tour
Following breakfast at the riad, we will embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, during which we will explore its splendid areas, vibrant markets, and overall atmosphere. 14 Day Morocco itinerary
Day 7 : Marrakech – Waterfalls of Ouzoud – Marrakech
Located in the High Atlas Mountains, the renowned Ouzoud waterfalls stand at a height of 100 meters and are considered the most magnificent waterfalls in North Africa. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to witness playful monkeys in the vicinity who occasionally attempt to snatch food from visitors.
Day 8 : Marrakech – Ait Ben haddou – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we will commence our journey to the southeastern region of Morocco. We will traverse the stunning Berber villages of the High Atlas mountains, eventually arriving at the village of Ait ben Haddou in Ouarzazate. Here, we will explore the ancient Kasbah before proceeding to another Kasbah in Ouarzazate.
Later in the day, we will take a brief pause in front of the Ouarzazate film studios and head towards Taourirt Kasbah. Our final destination for the night will be Dades, where we will pass through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses.
Day 9 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Our expedition through the desert will progress towards the Merzouga desert, taking us through the Tinghir and Todra gorges before arriving at the central Tafilal town of Erfoud. At this point, a team of camel guides will lead you on a walk across the sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi, where you will witness the stunning sunset over the biggest dunes in Morocco. The night will be spent in a splendid campsite nestled amidst the sand dunes, offering a breathtaking view of the starry Sahara sky.
Day 10: Merzouga desert area
Today is specifically designated for exploring Merzouga. This region, situated near the eastern border of Morocco, boasts picturesque plateaus and desert landscapes.
You will have the opportunity to meet the nomadic people residing in tents who look after their goats and camels. Later, you can indulge in a performance of the vibrant Gnawa music before returning to the village of Merzouga for lunch. Around noon, as the temperature begins to cool, we will join the camel caravan and head back to the campsite.
Day 11 : Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt
Following breakfast, we will depart for the Middle Atlas. Our first stop will be the mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif in Rissani, after which we will proceed to the fossil museum in Erfoud. We will then make our way towards Errachidia and the Ziz valley, arriving at Midelt, where we will spend the night in a charming local accommodation.
Day 12 : Midelt – Meknes – Fes
Our tour will progress to Meknes to discover the city of Soltan Molay Ismail. In addition to admiring the enormous gate and the grand square in front of it, we will delve into the old medina and the iconic Bab Mansour gate. Following this, we will continue towards the imperial city of Fes, where we will stay overnight in a delightful riad.
Day 13 : Fes guided tour
With the help of a knowledgeable local guide, we will embark on a tour of Fez to learn about the rich history of this ancient Moroccan city and its architectural wonders.
You will have the opportunity to discover the old Koranic schools, palaces, and bustling markets. At the end of the day, we will relish the picturesque sunset while basking in a panoramic view of Fez.
Day 14 : Fes – Chefchaouen
During your visit to Chefchaouen, you will have the pleasure of lodging in a lovely riad and savoring the serenity and allure of this captivating town located in northern Morocco.
Day 15 : Chefchaouen – Tangier
As we reach the final stretch of our 15-day Morocco desert tour from Tangier, we will make our way from Chefchaouen towards Tangier, passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Our journey will culminate in Tangier, where our tour will come to an end.
