4 days from Ouarzazate to Merzouga desert

On the morning of our first day, we will commence our journey to Tafraoute Sidi Ali with the driver picking you up either from your accommodation or the airport. Our route will take us through the majestic Atlas Mountains, where we will pause briefly at the panoramic view in Agdz to take in the stunning scenery.

Our next stop will be at the remarkable Kasbah Tamnougalt, where we can explore the area and admire the beauty of the acacia trees. For lunch, we will stop at a suitable spot along the way. Following that, we will proceed to Tafraoute Sidi Ali, where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on an exciting off-road adventure. Along the way, we will witness the everyday life of local communities and marvel at their traditional clay buildings.

Our journey will take us to the Ramlia Oases, where we will observe the farming practices and the unique oasis-like setup of the area. We will pause for lunch at a suitable spot along the off-road route before continuing to Merzouga. Here, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the soulful rhythms of Gnawa music before taking a thrilling camel ride that will transport us to the desert camp where we will spend the night under the starry skies.

On the third day of our four-day desert tour from Ouarzazate, you will start your day with a delectable breakfast at the desert camp. Afterwards, we will embark on a camel ride that will take us back to the Merzouga village.

From there, we will visit the nomads residing behind the dunes and explore the mines while enjoying the magnificent panoramic views. A suitable spot along the way will be chosen for lunch. Following that, we will have some free time to relax and soak up the beauty of the Merzouga desert at our hotel.

We will depart from the hotel at 8:30 am and head towards Ouarzazate via the Erfoud fossils area. Our next stop will be at the magnificent Todra gorge where we will embark on a breathtaking mountain walk.

We will stop for lunch in the scenic surroundings of the Todra valley before continuing our journey to the picturesque Roses valley. Here, we will take a moment to enjoy a cup of coffee and explore the rose cooperatives.

Finally, we will make our way to Ouarzazate, which will mark the end of our four-day desert tour from Ouarzazate.
