8 days Agadir to desert

Day 1: Welcome you at the airport

On the morning, of our 8 day Agadir to Merzouga desert tour, we will meet you at the airport in Agadir. and take you to your room to rest from the plane journey.

Day 2: Guided tour of Agadir

Our guide will start the tour in Agadir, then you will have a look at the city’s sights, after that you will have a visit to the big market of the city Souk el Had. Lunch at a seafood restaurant. Visit of the yacht harbour and walk on the beach. Night at your hotel.

Day 3: Take the way from Agadir to Zagora

We will leave Agadir towards Taroudante, a beautiful walled medina. then We continue towards Taliouine, famous for its saffron culture. after that to Taznakht, a Berber village which is famous for the production of hand-made Berber carpets. From there we will continue towards Zagora. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Zagora – Merzouga

Departure to Merzouga desert after visiting the palm grove. Cross Hamada desert. Our destination will be the old Sijilmassa of Rissani. then reach Merzouga desert from there. A camel ride on the sand dunes will allow you to admire the sunset in the sea of sand. Dinner will then be around the campfire. then special night under the stars in the camp.

Day 5: Sand Dunes tour in Merouga

Breakfast at the camp, a ride on the camel to reach the foot of the dunes, then we will set off to explore the desert landscape around Merzouga. We will visit the engravings of Taouz, and we will stop to visit the tents of the Berber nomads. We then return to the town of Khamlia to take part in a show of Gnaoua music. Lunch and return by camel to the Erg Chebbi dunes camp. Hotel in Merzouga for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Merzouga – Dades

We leave the Sahara at Merzouga and head for the Dades Gorges, where we will spend the night with local people. Today we will see the Area of Rissani and Erfoud. from there we will head for the Todra Gorges, where we will have lunch and discover the charm of the cliffs.

Day 7: Valley Dades – Ouarzazate and to Ait ben haddou Village

This morning, we will leave for the town of Ouarzazate to explore these historic sites before stopping at Skoura to visit the Kasbah of Amredil. Accompanied by a local guide, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt.then on the way to Ait ben Haddou. We will spend the night there.

Day 8: Aït ben haddou – Marrakech

After crossing the High Atlas Mountains, we will make our way back to Marrakech. where our 8 days agadir to desert tour ends.
